Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

The 2018-2019 school year will have 6 schools participating in the FFVP starting in August:

Columbia -  Irving -  Lafayette -  Maywood - Miller - O'Bannon

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) makes fresh fruits and vegetables available to students throughout the school day. Schools receive funds to order fresh fruit & vegetables for use outside of the cafeteria.

It is a great program to expose students to the healthy benefits of eating fresh fruits and vegetables and is an excellent opportunity for students to meet suggested servings during their school day.
